This session trains outreach workers on the basics of communicable diseases, with focusing on those that disproportionately impact people experiencing homelessness. Outreach workers will learn infectious disease basics, how to protect oneself and clients, how to identify potentially ill clients, and know what to do when identifying someone who may be ill.

LAHSA has partnered with the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) to develop an accessible Trauma and Resiliency Informed Care Webinar. The webinar was developed with the purpose of educating all workers in the City and County of Los Angeles on how to interact with survivors of complex trauma.
