This session trains outreach workers on the basics of communicable diseases, with focusing on those that disproportionately impact people experiencing homelessness. Outreach workers will learn infectious disease basics, how to protect oneself and clients, how to identify potentially ill clients, and know what to do when identifying someone who may be ill.
